Disgraceful Rider

England’s first match tonight against USA. Rider can hardly wait…. a plan has been carefully formulated…. membership of Lovefilm in place, trips out in prospect, wine in garden if the sun shines with one of several splendid books….   Fun to speculate on how England will go out of the competition… will it be that crazy challenge from Rooney resulting in a Red Card? will it be that blind Ref who should have awarded a penalty or a corner? will it be that missed penalty right at the end of a drawn game?  You can be sure of one thing and one thing alone, there will be tears and desolation – unless you’ve gone to the Bookies and bet against you know who.  Would Rider be so unpatriotic? well there is the facelift to fund
