Disgraceful Rider

Weird weather … cocktails at the Top of the Mark … Fishermans Wharf like upmarket Blackpool … vibrant China town… failed to create earthquake… pity I’d seen the Humber Bridge first!  Loved old Sacramento and the Railway Museum outstanding OMG the size of those locos!  Redwoods, like Petra, half as old as time and Carmel contrived like Portmeiron in Wales (remember ‘The Prisoner’).  Turky vultures like Red Kites soaring everywhere – just as beautiful by any other name.  Saw paints and pintos and longed to ride them across those rolling brown hills. Pebble Beach golf courses and Millionaires’ homes – are they in the world or merely of it ? Lovely Yanks … few seem to travel their own country much less abroad. Note to self: Get a horse and ride coast to coast one day. Impossible dream? but I know dreams can come true.
